Smoking Basics: Pork Butts & Ribs

Service Description

Labor Day is right around the corner and it is time to up your BBQ game!! This is a class with a focus on teaching the WHYs of smoking along with the HOW. You will leave with a full rack of ribs, a full pork butt (about 5lbs after smoking) and sides. Learn the difference between a wet rub and dry rub and how to make your own in minutes using the flavors you prefer. Learn how to trim and prepare spareribs. Learn firebox basics and different types of woods for smoking. Learn various BBQ sauce styles. Learn how to make coleslaw from scratch. Take aways: Full Rack of ribs, Pulled Pork BBQ (full butt), BBQ sauce, Grilled corn, Coleslaw


Cancellation Policy

CLASS TRANSFER POLICY: No Refunds. If you are unable to attend this class, you may request a transfer to move your reservation to another class. However, these requests must be received seven (7) working days in advance of the class date. If your request is made after seven (7) working days, we will not be able to accommodate your transfer request. You may, however, pass along your place in this class to another person. Ingredient ordering, Production Planning and Staffing take place well in advance of each cooking class; therefore, we are unable to offer refunds.
